Waiting seems to be quite taboo lately. We live in a microwave society where everyone is driven by the desire to have everything "Now!" No one wants to wait anymore...And when challenged with the opportunity, frustration and lots of complaining are generally attached to the Wait.
Unfortunately, with that mentality we forfeit the benefits that are produced when waiting. I don't know if any of you are like me, and you've experience good ole down south home cooking. But, in grandma's kitchen, that's what was consistently brewing. Her food was always delicious! But guess what? It took time... Grandma didn't just throw some chicken in the microwave and then hand it to us on paper plates. She took time to ensure it had just the right seasoning, the ingredients were proportioned well, and that it spent just the right amount of time baking. She knew that if she took it out too soon it wouldn't be the very best it could be. So when all the children would ask "Grandma, When will the food be ready?" She'd often yell back " Just wait!! It will be ready soon enough.."
Grandma knew what she was making, and the time necessary to produce the best results. Just as she knows from a food standpoint, God knows from a Father standpoint. He takes great pleasure in being able to give you the absolute best! Let him..
This t-shirt was designed by Jerard and I, as we pursue a journey of "Waiting" until Marriage. "Waiting is The New Black" is simply a message that means "Waiting" is Cool! It's not something that should be Frowned upon, but rather, celebrated! We believe this is a message that God wants to birth in the Earth. God works best in the wait. It is in this process that he is developing something great!
God wants to develop your blessing up so good that it will bless your socks off! ☺️You can't even imagine what God has in store for you! For it is written, Eyes have not seen, Ears have not heard, Neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God hath prepared for them that love him.” ~ 1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT
That mate you've been desiring is going to be so amazing that you won't be able to deny it was God. Your healing will be so awesome, you'll be better than before. That career you've desired for years is going to be so phenomenal, you won't be able to take credit for it. So wait well! How you wait determines how long you wait. Trust God in the process. It will be so worth it!
